Who ya gonna call?? Ballbuste.... eh no actually the AA. My assault on the Balllbuster Duathlon 2010 came close but I fell before the battle had even commenced. My trusty little motor wasn't up to the job and didnt get me to the start on race morning as it died just 7.5 miles from the start line. I couldn't leave the car where it stopped and Mr. AA man had to come tow me away. I was all hyped up for the race with the big beats booming out of the car only to be towed to a garage instead of making the race. Oh the humiliation!
Not too glorious a way to end the season but I've had a pretty good year so I'll be having a much earned rest and a few ales in the coming weeks before setting my sights on 2011.
A bit of news that doesn't yet seem to have made the international headlines is that the 2011 ETU European Duathlon Championships will be held in Limerick, Ireland on April 17th. This is the same day as the European Powerman Championships in Holland so I'm going to have to miss one unless I can get the cloning device working again.
